Description
Onboard systems typically feature two or more batteries operating independently to power 12V or 24V devices. These batteries require separate charging using reliable battery isolators or combiners.
Mastervolt offers a range of smart solutions to enhance your power system:
- Battery Isolators: Efficiently divide charge current with minimal energy loss.
- Charge Mate: Connects or disconnects two batteries as needed.
- Battery Watch: Monitors battery condition and also serves as a main switch.
The Battery Mate is compatible with any alternator or battery charger, making it suitable for both existing and new systems. With negligible voltage loss between the alternator and battery, it significantly outperforms traditional battery isolators. This guarantees fast and complete battery charging without requiring additional adjustments to the alternator.
High-Capacity Charging for Multiple Batteries
The Battery Mate excels at charging two or three batteries simultaneously, even with different alternator brands that lack adjustable charge voltage. It delivers high-efficiency charging without voltage loss. Models 1602/1603 support alternators with a maximum charge current of 160 amps, while the Battery Mate 2503 is designed for alternators with a maximum charge current of 250 amps.
Clear Monitoring and Robust Durability
Safety is paramount with the Battery Mate, featuring an LED display that indicates active power input. Constructed from completely corrosion-proof materials with aluminum heat sinks, its electronic components are encased in durable synthetic materials.
