Description

This is a pair of 5/8” channel shackles, they are used to attach your safety chains to the channel on any BulletProof Hitch. This allows you to get the correct safety chain length without the need for chain extenders.

Safety chains connect a trailer to the hitch receiver as a backup safety precaution in case the coupler detaches from the ball. Attaching safety chains to a hitch receiver when using a drop hitch can be very difficult or just impossible under certain circumstances.

NOTE: CHANNEL SHACKLES ARE SOLD IN QUANTITIES OF 2

  • The Channel Shackles are rated up to 6,500 lbs each
  • 5/8” Bolt mounts chains to hitch channel
  • 1/2” Thick steel

  • (2) Channel Shackles
  • (2) 5/8” Bolts
